  • Not quite. The NV25 will be used in the X-Box. However, assuming they continue their cycle, it will be an updated version of the NV20.

  • Yes, I would. It looks like great competition from ATI for once. I'm just pointing out that most people either didn't know about Radeon or didn't feel like waiting for it, so you are probably in the minority by wanting to buy one now. I won't say I wish I waited, but I won't say it is a terrible chip, either. I am happy with my GF2, and will remain

  • I'm curious: what games can't a GeForce or GeForce 2 run (Other than Glide only games, of course)? I've never found a game I can't run on my GF2. Nvidia is doing the same old thing, huh... well, this is the spring refresh, so that is expected. While I agree that ATI is innovating, 3dFX is not. They are simply making tiny changes to a 3 year old architecture

  • Are they planning on making a mobile version? I've got a 64MB GF2 in my PC, but something like the Radeon looks like it would be great to have on the laptop I'm getting soon.

  • Those scores were done with FSAA enabled. That is the only reason they are so low. Normally a GF2 kicks a V5's ass in 3dMark. I get 6059 on my Athlon 700 with a Prophet 2, the highest I've seen for a V5 is around 3500. (scores from default settings)

  • It looks like a very worth replacement to the TNT2 in the market. It has decent performance, and a great price. I prefer the GF2 standard, but the MX is a great value card.

  • Sorry Genocide, you're not right. We'll start with Pentium, and move from there: Pentium: L1 integrated, L2 on mobo, access speed equal to FSB speed. Pentium 2: L1 integrated, L2 on proc card, access speed at half the core clock speed. K6-3: L1 integrated, L2 integrated and full core clock speed. Celeron: L1 integrated, L2 integrated full speed. Pentium

  • All right, everyone is getting a bit off-topic here. I believe the title of this thread is: "What would U Buy, Voodoo5 or GeForce2 GTS ??", not "Lets see who can be the biggest flaming *******". You're all beginning to take away from the thread, and the board in general. All you ever do is fight on here! Can't we all be civilized and respect each others
