  • well with your motherboard, you will only get UDMA33 so it's worthless to buy that cable, if on the otherhand you had a PCI card that did UDMA66, and your drives support UDMA66, it would theortically double the speed of transfers.

  • you can probaly overclock the P3 450 up to 600, though most likely you will be able to get 504, I have a p2 450 running at 504 on the Abit BE6-II with no problems at all, and since the P3 is newer you might be able to get a little more.

  • Coppermines don't conflict with P3 Coppermines, they are the same thing, the reason why you have low resources is because you don't have enough RAM, and Winbloze is being a piece of crap.

  • I advise you to put a fan on that card, the Abit boards are known for supplying enough power to the board because they have made the default I/O Voltage 3.5, even though it worked fine with 3.3 on their boards, put the fan on it, Don't overclock, then you will be able to play longer times.

  • I personally think that 30+ fps is smooth enough for gameplay, I don't know why you guys are getting so hyped up in these 60+ fps cards, you guys must remeber, TV looks smooth, very smooth, and it runs only at 29.6 fps NTSC and 25.4 PAL. I have a v3 3500 at 186, with a p2 450@504 and I am happy with 36 fps at 1152x864 in Quake3 with superhigh texture
