Typically dig HH content and articles, but this needs some massive work in the editing dept. Also, I generally disagree with a lot of the arguments. 1. AMD didn't announce anything. They were poised the question by a journalist and said essentially 'It was shown with Gaming Evolved logos for the first time at GDC, it would make sense for that

I echo that sentiment, and think this is by far the most thought-out and intelligent response I have ever seen by a media company rep. His answer was pitch perfect. He looks like the good guy, is accepting reality while harnessing that possible monetary gain (which is really all he can do other than simply ignore/abhore the existence of the matter,

I absolutely have this problem. I can state I'm fairly certain it's not the mobo/video card audio, as it happens to me when using my WP-350's (Creative bluetooth headphones) with the corresponding USB APTX bluetooth dongle. The 'displaced noise' that bothers me the most is Elizabeth's footsteps. It drives me bonkers. Also, what

I've always believed the problem has been with features layered BEHIND other features. IE the mapping of skin has looked good for some time in my opinion, but eyes have always looked odd because they are naturally sunken in. In that respect, this demo looks amazing. The eyes look pretty fabulous. Now they just need to work on the inside of mouths

"you can't buy this [the system's RAM] for $50. That's why graphics card cost as much as they do." That's kinda here and there, and almost sounds like an excuse to jack the price over $400 as was obviously planned (with 4GB). Yeah, 8GB (especially low-voltage as they are using, which is probably similar-priced to their 1.6v

Curious. If not RSS, what do people use? Websites like Reddit? I browse the morning feeds after work and when I wake up. I truly see it as a contemporary tailored newspaper by authors I enjoy, complete with headlines and a short sample. I haven't found a more efficient way, as of yet, to filter what I know I am interested in or what I never knew

Truly a fair argument on it's face, and fwiw I believe them since they chose to broadcast the decision. That said, what will oland (8700/8600m and 8600/8500m oem) be then? 7500/7600? It would make absolutely no sense to launch Richland without it's gpu counterpart to the channel. This is not to mention Richland carries an 8000 series gpu title

Wonder what panel they are using (when LG announced this size screen in a product a week ago)...so take the 20k LG price, add Sony tax...hmm. 25-30k? Also yeah, it will be a decade or so before 4k hits a 50% penetration rate, probably 5 or so years before most people can afford a sane-sized screen, and of course a game console would not be geared towards

Yes, it is 'supposedly' PCI-e 3.0. Cypress was supposed to have it included, but was cut to reduce die size. I would assume the transistors will be allocated in 28nm products. As for AMD's chipsets/motherboards...That does seem quite enigmatic, and almost makes the inclusion for GPUs more of a gimic in the checkbox battle with nVIDIA. One

What COULDN'T it be? It couldn't be lime green, and it's doubtfully light blue, as both of those would be redundant. The odds of a darker green with dying shades of a 255 red and black mix makes me excited. Very much looking forward to your take on both sets of products...Keep up the good work gentlemen.
