I am not surprised at all. Watercooling + push pins = very poor results. Add a single 120mm rad for CPU and GPU is nothing but fail.

After the thought of "April fools joke?" was, "Ok,how much did HP pay for this?".

Does displayport bring with it all the DRM crap that HDMI is supposed to have?

Wow, quite the impressive little thing. Is it just me or does the keyboard seem a little bigger than the originals? I am quite surprised by the bundle you get, though I wouldn't care about the mouse, and I would get an 8 or 16 gig SD card instead of 4; it really shows that Asus listens to their customers, and is willing to do things a little differently

With the DD-WRT, you can increase the power forgot the units, but it is something like 75 stock and I set mine to 110. Got me an extra 10-15 feet down a hallway and thru some walls.

Can't wait! $5 chips, slapped in an Asus EEE is a recipe for massive win.

I would recommend either the G.skills or the Mushkins. Both have exceptional customer service, and both of them are pretty good overclockers. I would recommend my RAM, but they are a bit pricy, though for me they are worth it.

April fools! The prize is a lie! Or they announce a winner, and just send him some pictures and benchmark results of the rig.

They are already optimized for x64, and Vista. Currently Vista game performance isjust about identical to XP's. I agree with the others, I will NEVER buy a new pre-built computer for my self. The give you crappy power supplies that cannot take even an extra fan, motherboards that are the cheapest they can possibly get away with, RAM that is slow

But the 8800GT's will still beat the 9600GT's, not to mention you are still paying 100% more for 60% more performance. I would much rather take n 8800GTS 512 or 8800GTX over 2 x 8800GT's or 9600GT's. One powerful single card will always be better than two mediocre cards. Try a benchmark that matters, pick any old game (preferable new
