I'm curious if anyone has a PCIe SSD and what you think of them. I've had my eye on a Revo x2 (220GB) but wanted to get some input before making a decision..

I wanted to find out if anyone has purchased one of the PCIe or PCIe 2.0 SSD cards and what you think of them? I have been contemplating the 220GB Revo X2 , but I read somewhere that some motherboards have issues with the Raid 0 setup of the drive..

Wow.. Just checked the pricing on these.. Classified = $450 FTW = $400 SLI = $300 They ARE supposedly PCIE 3.0 Slots..

Way back when this Gigabyte board came out: http://hothardware.com/cs/forums/t/52445.aspx the idea of a 24 Phase CPU power design was the next big thing to help CPU stability. Other companies had came out with 12 Phase and 18 Phase boards, but no one but Gigabyte had the 24 Phase. In the more recent reviews, i haven't been seeing anything mentioned

I actually surprised that a company like POLAR hadn't come out with this idea yet. It would fall right in line with their heart rate monitors and such.. As for me, the only way I'd buy something like that is if it WASN'T attached to a network.

When I was looking at phones, the version of Android the the upgradability was something I looked at. What I found coincides with the findings of this article. That Motorola manufactured phones were the slowest to get upgrade. HTC was one of the better ones. But, as mentioned, it's not just about the phone manufacturers, but also the Providers.

Neil - When I click on the link, it says "So, Sorry. This is private." And you can't view anything.. What board are you trying to show?

That card does look sweet.. However, I am wondering when the PCI-E 3.0 Cards will start rolling out..

Guess it's a good thing that I have been waiting to upgrade my system... Probably won't upgrade until X-mas now. Get a Z-68 board with the PCI-E. Get a PCI-E SSD Card. And a new Video Card. And I'll be a happy camper.
