Ok - I have 8 GB of OCZ Reaper PC2-6400 (800Mhz) HPC Edition RAM in my system. On boot up, I see timings of 6-6-6-18 (2T) and the voltage when I look in the CMOS is set at 1.85v. The memory has labels on it that says 4-4-4 and 2.2v I've seen reviews where people have them set to 4-4-4-12. Which, from my limited knowledge, should be better than the

OK. The Seagate 750 GB drive I purchased and have had numerous troubles with is crapping the bed AGAIN. However, this time, I've got my back-up plan in a spiffy new Raptor 74 GB drive for my OS (Vista 64 Ultimate) and a 1TB Wester Digital Black Caviar drive for my data. The problem I have run into, though, is that WDs software stinks and won't

What about the FoxConn Bloodrage line? P.S. = I do realize that FoxConn is going bye bye

Der Meister - Great info as always. The only problem is that, in the $2500, I have to include monitors, os, input devices, cd/dvd, as well. Great minds do think alike, though, as I did go with the same EVGA, WD Caviar Black Drive, and Processor. On the EVGA 780I SLI, those are slots 1 and 2 that they are in. The cards have the same bios and all the settings are the same between the two. According to EVGA, the issue is that NVidia changes the refence cards just slightly so that the bridge connections aren't perfectly in line. So EVGA is sending me a flexible bridge, which they say will fix

The New PSU ( OCZ Stelath 700w ) helped, but did not solve the problem. They think that its the SLI Bridge not seating correctly because NVidia changed design of the boards between the 9800 GTX and GTX+, though they claim it will work together. EVGA is sending be a flex bridge that they hope will be the solution. If not, they said they would see about

Ok. I finally got my new rig up and running... For the most part... *LOL*.. Still can't get the cards to work in SLI..Best part is that its QUIET in comparison to my Aspire box that had 1 less fan.. Also, this was the cleanest rig I've been able to do.. the only drawback with the power supply being on the bottom is that the wire for the CPU

The OC'ing is on hold until my new case and powersupply get here.
