0.4mm thin, I'll use mine to slice bread!
Perhaps you're being sarcastic or you misquoted but .4mm literally is thinner than some sharp knives. 4 inches sounds more realistic.

If I try to access a famous torrent site my ISP (Ireland's AT and T) blocks it. Obviously web proxy takes an extra few seconds but it is a pain. For a screenshot check out this . I'm not at all surprised by the findings stated above.

Haven't see one of these threads in a while. I'm still using my MacBook but I stuck a copy of Ubuntu on it, I wouldn't recommend Ubuntu on a Mac before you ask. Anyway go . .

I'm thinking along the same lines as you either motherboard or PSU. If it was any other component I could expect beeps but nada. I'll follow those steps in a bit. Quite busy at the moment with college. Will check back in a few days with an update.

No fans, no beeps. Almost as if I hadn't plugged it in. My initial suspicion was that the PSU had given way. However I noticed one of the LEDs on the motherboard was on, this indicates that at least the PSU is receiving power and giving it to the motherboard and that the motherboard was also receiving it. My next step was to check the connection

If I could get to the stage with beeps I'd be set, since they diagnose the problem or tell me the component. I'm genuinely stumped I'm suspecting a component has died but which one? I'll have to get a mates computer and start switching components. Which should I check first?

Okay, I gave my rig to my mate for a few months (I wasn't using it), I get it back today and the thing isn't powering up. I know the power supply is receiving power and providing it to the motherboard because one of the LEDs on the motherboard is on. My next suspicion was that the line between the power button and the motherboard became damaged

I don't see this as an affirmation of just Intel doing well (which is also true) rather that the computer industry trends of boom after boom are likely to continue in the long term. It isn't just Intel, look at Apple, Google, Microsoft and the rest of the giants. Wall St. has always had a love affair with the tech industry.

I loved the Michael Jackson Video.

Sorry to hear about your headache Warlord. I can't imagine the inconvenience it must cause you, I do hope the problem is resolved.
