  • Re: DDR3 Round-Up: Memory Performance With The Core

I don't understand how (in Article Index: Clock Speed") the Crysis benchmark graph shows 1866 MHz = 73.76 FPS 800 MHz = 66.36 FPS difference = 7.40 FPS but the article text in that section claims "Moving from DDR3-800 to DDR3-1866 bumped up Crysis by nearly 10 FPS ..." Please explain...

  • Question on RAM cooler

I have been searching for articles regarding RAM coolers that would work well (without issues) with the Dorminator series . . . the only water block I can find is the Thermaltake Aqua RX R-1 and the coolance RAM 35 . . . • XP recognizes only 2 gb

I'm new here so please bear with me. I've just built a new SLI computer. I put in 2 OCZ 2 gb sticks. The bios registers 4 gb but windows only see 2. • Re: How do I get the right memory for my PC.

You can get any DDR-400 / PC-3200 RAM you'd like, as long as you don't exceed 4GB... http://www.asrockamerica.com/Products/P4v88.htm How much memory do you want? If you want to go to 2GB, just at another pair of 512MB sticks. If you want to go to 3GB, you can also add a pair of 1GB sticks. Just...

  • Re: PLEASE HELP ME

Absolutely. 256MB is not enuogh for a usable XP installation. With prices as low as they are right now, 1GB (1024MB) should be the minimum.
