Hi all! This is my first post here and I'm coming with an issue regarding an OLDER piece of tech, namely 7600GT. My specs are of an aging yet still quite usable PC (I'm saving my cash for a new Bulldozer rig, hopefully it delivers upon release) comprised of an ASUS motherboard P4S800MX SE, Creative...

Although this is now an old report, I thought it worth mentioning the XFX GTX260 (216) I have installed which is the non-Black edition. This was purchased around April 2009. I use the EVGA Precision software to bump the fan speed when under load. I've overclocked the card to the following quite successfully...

At times the wireframe gets about four pixels larger, like it is being drawn in crayon. When I load the X driver...

I'm working on the design for a PC I'm going to build as soon as I get a job... Everything's decided except for the damn Graphics Card. Originally, the plan was for two (nVidia) 8500GT's w/ 512MB by Evga, but a friend has just told me that I'd get better results with a SINGLE 8600GTS...
