Apple will no doubt resolve this flare problem - perhaps by offering a two-day training course on how to «angle the camera away from the bright light source when taking pictures» to users at a price of a couple of hundred dollars (or equivalent) a pop. Naturally, this solution will be patented...

It seems likely that the outcome of a Samsung suit against Apple would depend upon the location of the court which tries the case. In Lucy Haeran Koh's court located some 16 km (10 English miles) from Apple's headquarters, I'd not give Samsung a snowball's chance in a tropical climate...
