  • RE: Quake Live Beta Opens To More Players

And thank you for the invite, Bob! It does not currently work under Wine on Linux (the installer crashes), but I've filed bug reports and hope to get time to do some digging into the code this weekend. Q3&4 run under Wine, so it should be possible to get this working with a little hammering.

  • RE: Apple Announces "iTunes Without DRM"

Ding-dong, the witch is dead! Time for me to pull my iTunes account out of hock and show my support. BTW - works fine under Wine on Linux.

  • RE: IE, Windows Market Share Take Hits in 2008

When I was still using Windows, I preferred Opera (more compatible than FF), but that was quite a while back. On Linux, I prefer FF for 99.9% of things. • Re: Left 4 Dead

I downloaded and installed the demo via Steam. Runs pretty slow under Linux+Wine unless you dial down the video settings, but it sure does look good.

  • Inside The Asus Eee PC, Full Retail Evaluation

Hype, we all know the drill.  We've seen it many times before.  There's only so much commotion you can digest before you start to wonder if something is as good as it's played up to be.  Such is the case with the highly anticipated Asus Eee PC.  In fact, this product has...
