Wireless carrier AT&T announced that it's taking pre-orders for Samsung's thinnest and lightest 10.5-inch and 8.4-inch tablets to date. More specifically, we're talking about the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, which measures a scant 0.26 inches thin and weighs 16.5 ounces, and the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, which also measures just 0.26 inches wide but weighs a mere 10.4 ounces.

There are different ways you can pay for the devices through AT&T. For example, you can grab the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 in Charcoal Gray for $31.50 per month for 20 months (plus applicable wireless service plan charges, or pay $529.99 with a two-year service agreement. Alternately, you can buy the device outright for $629.99 with no annual commitment.

Pricing for the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 runs a little cheaper at $26.50 per month for 20 months (and the same taxes mentioned above), $429.99 with a two-year service agreement, or $529.99 to own the tablet outright with no commitment. Whichever tablet and payment option you choose, AT&T is offering Galaxy Tab S buyers 50 percent off the purchase of a matching Samsung Tab S keyboard, while supplies last.

In case you're not familiar with the specs, both tablets feature a Super AMOLED display with a 2560x1600 resolution, Samsung Exynos 5420 SOC, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage, microSD card slot, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 8MP rear-facing camera with autofocus and flash, 2.1MP front-facing camera, micro USB 2.0 port, 4G LTE connectivity, and Android KitKat.

You can place your pre-order for the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 here and the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 here, or waltz into an AT&T store.
