Wonder if you could wire up a bunch of these through your house and tie it all in to your home automation system. Then you could do things like control the lights, music, HAVC, etc without a control.

So, MS drop the price of the One by $100 and remove the Kinect (and removes the requirement that game makers use it, so now NONE of them will).
Now they try to sell them for $200 by themselves with some dev tools and a USB adaptor??
Sorry, but this IS NOT the way to get people developing for this amazing device.
Actually infinity there was a video on you tube with a kinect v1 where they used it for home automation. 200.00 is a lot of money for just the devise especially if they want people to develop software for the kinect v2.
