"We're always looking at new ways to gather player feedback so that we can continue to improve our games. The 'rate this app' feature in the Google Play version of Dungeon Keeper was designed to help us collect valuable feedback from players who don't feel the game is worth a top rating. We wanted to make it easier for more players to send us feedback direction from the game if they weren't having the best experience. Players can always continue to leave any rating they want on the Google Play Store." - EA told JustPushStart in an email.
In other words, how DARE EA follow the same model that everyone else is. If you hate the model so much, stick to games that are totally free and not published by for-profit organizations or companies, as they are the ONLY ones that can do what you want them to do.
How about they come out with a version you can just pay 6 bucks for and actually play for any length of time other than the amount it takes to tap the screen a few times to enable some more countdown timers?
Damn that sucks. I loved the original DK, and was happy to hear about the reboot, not any more :(
Just give it the ultimate "rating" by not buying it at all.
There is no better way to say it to them.
Dogs are great judges of character, and if your dog doesn't like somebody being around, you shouldn't trust them.
