nope the AMD arm is for servers not consumer electronics like the K1

Seems like that "Mesh" acquisition might be bearing fruit sooner rather than later.
Well, they bought SeaMicro almost exactly two years ago. So it'll be 30 months, give or take, before they seriously ship hardware in volume. That's pretty standard / expected for an acquisition of this sort.

I was thinking of Kaveri being the true fruit of the ATI purchase. Seen in that light this is good news indeed.
This has nothing to do with Kaveri. This is an ARM core, with no HSA capability.
