Since the site was developed by a Canadian development company (US division) the situation is already messy. The original contract was supposed to be around 60 million. Because of a variety of reasons, including a lot of additional states being added to the healthcare.gov site, the price raised to 120 million. But with the cost overruns and bugs, the pricetag is now somewhere north of 220 Million. Shows what you get when you choose the lowest bidder.
