The Piston is *NOT* one of the "Steam Machines"! Please quit helping XI3 misrepresent it.
The Xi3 Piston was designed completely independently of Valve's plans, and without any thought to performance under Linux/SteamOS. If it had been designed late enough to have Linux/SteamOS gaming in mind, it surely wouldn't have a Radeon 7000 chipset.
Wait until the certified Steam Machines come out next year if your goal is to run SteamOS. You will likely be disappointed with the experience if you overpay for this (rather cool looking) machine.
