Finally, someone has said what I thought about Win 8 - love the under the hood improvements, but it's ugly! There was no need to abandon Areo. They could have had the live tiles and all the touch stuff etc etc and left the look alone. No reason they couldn't have propagated areo to all the other devices.

Great show as always guys, and I'm looking forward to the next show =)

Oh, and Dave - helluva mic you got there ;)

Yes, that was fun. I like the Mic on your desk Dave, looks like it came from the 1950s. Also like the original artwork on the wall behind you.

as for Winders 8, they really should have listened to feedback a long time ago.

Love those little Zotac boxes too.

Dogs are great judges of character, and if your dog doesn't like somebody being around, you shouldn't trust them.

Excellent video once again, guess it that BlueOrb mic Dave got making the scene. I liked the strong recommendation for the Acer laptop and as usual Marco recommends are good enough for me.

So let me see if I got this right ? ... Windows 7 is what Vista should have been, and the Win 8.1 Preview is what Windows 8 could have been.

Oh well.

That microphone is a Blue Snowball. Dave and I both use 'em. Pretty nice mics...

Totally agree about the Zotac. It's just crazy that you can get that much power from something that's smaller than a toaster.
