Prices aren't that bad but I still wouldn't want a laptop to do school work on. I have enough issues when I am away from my desktop and have to use my laptop. That and having a gaming laptop seems like overkill. Id rather spend $2-400 bucks for a power efficent laptop since if I am in school I don't plan on being around a power plug for most of the day than something I "can" play a game on medium settings.
