Good for them, it wouldn't be worth the press or the fees to have it dragged out. 250,000 Pounds is not that much to a multi-billion dollar company anyways, it is purely about ego that makes itself so begrudged.

A fine that small is far less painful than what PS3 users at large had to deal with for a couple of weeks, what with the downtime AND their sensitive data being exposed. I can understand wanting to fight something like this based on principle, but as has been proven, it's probably a waste of time.
Yep. Pretty much a slap on the wrist like most fines against major companies. I still want the ps4 though
I just cant believe how long it takes to do this stuff. 2 years!!! thats a looooooooooooonnnnnnnggggggg time to issue this relatively small fine to this major company.
The only thing slower is healthcare.
That's not much of a fine for a company like Sony...its just like a Pro Basketball player getting fined 10K. What is the point?
