My first computer was a Dell Xps 8000. Then I upgraded everything but the RAM so far. Only issue with is was poor cooling that led to overheating.

I am not deep into computers but as this seems to be adequately priced with other gamin PCs it is nice to see Dell in the 'game' (so to speak) at all.

Despite the price drop, these still aren't quite competitive machines. With a comparatively weak AMD 7570 or the Nvidia 645, You'll be looking at low-medium settings depending on what game you run. I wouldn't buy it as the power vs price just isn't there.
