Supposedly only those who had aftermarket hard drives were getting bricked more than those who had the original factory hard drives.
Didn't happen to me! At least it isn't totally "bricked", unlike how if you interrupted a Wii U update your console was rendered unusable!
Good thing, I haven't updated my ps3 yet.
Sonys firmware updating sucks. That actually is one of the reasons why i chose to sell my Ps3 at the time over my 360. Kind of wish i sold my 360 now with all these awsome exclusives coming out on Ps3, *cough* The Last Of Us
well damn, but i am amazed on how fast the looked into and solved the problem, which is great, i do not own a PS3 i have friends who have though i think they got lucky this time, no one had a problem, but it's good to know
