We’ve already mentioned a little something about ASUSupcoming Z87-based motherboards, but ASUS has plenty of other products geared for 4th-generation Intel Core processors (Haswell), as well, including a new consumer desktop and a pair of all-in-ones.

In addition to a 4th-generation Intel Core processor, the ASUS M51 desktop features NVIDIA or AMD graphics and the ASUS Smart Cooling System equipped with automatic fan speed control and a front-mounted hot-swap drive bay called the ASUS Universal Storage Module (USM). There’s also a removable UPS (uninterrupted power supply) called the ASUS Power Pack, which is great feature on its own, but it can also double as a portable battery pack to charge mobile devices. Further on the wireless charging front, the ASUS Wireless Charger try can also re-juice a mobile device and supports the Qi standard.

The ASUS ET2702 and ET2301, which feature 27-inch (2560x1440, 10-point multitouch) and 23-inch (1920x1080, 5-point multitouch) IPS displays, respectively, are ASUS’ AIOs with 4th-gen Intel chips inside. Both have optional desktop subwoofers.

The ET2702 also features optional Thunderbolt ports as well as a Device Share mode that lets users turn it into essentially a “sophisticated desktop dock” that gives a connected notebook access to the larger machine’s display, speakers, and assorted peripherals. The ET2301 has built-in software including a fast launcher for oft-used applications, MusicMaker for writing music, and a video editor called Video Easy, as well as 32GB of free ASUS WebStorage in the cloud.

All three computers come with ASUS Ai Charger II technology in their USB ports and ASUS SonicMaster audio.

The company also announced a pair of new commercial desktop PCs, the BM1 and BP1. Both have 4th-generation Intel processors, Intel HD Graphics 4600, and the ASUS Business Suite 2.0 utility that’s designed to make IT management as simple and easy as possible.

They also have ASUS Easy Update II software to keep drivers and the BIOS up to date; USB blocker to control ports; SecureDelete to enhance the security of deleted files; Intel vPro technology; an onboard TPM module; and ASUS AI Security for further protection against malware and unauthorized access.

The commercial desktops have plenty of display options including VGA, DVI-I, and dual DisplayPort outputs, all without a discrete graphics card, and they support multiple display setups. For legacy applications, they also have optional serial and parallel ports. The chassis are designed to be tool-less and modular in an effort to make them easier to work on, which the IT folks will likely be glad to see.

Pricing and availability for the above are yet to be revealed.
