Nintendo really screwed up with the WiiU launch timing if you ask me...
I have every Nintendo console except the WiiU, and I'm not sure I ever will get one. There's just nothing to get excited about this time out, and news like this certainly doesn't help. The Wii got away with being underpowered because of it's novelty, but that isn't the case with the WiiU. Adding a tablet doesn't interest me at all. I don't care about tablets, and if I did, I'd get a full-fledged one. Geez, Nintendo seems to really have missed the mark this round. Maybe they should give up on the hardware side and port their franchises to the PS4 and Durango.
Honestly I could care less about the Wii U but the fact the new Star Wars games will be made by DICE (and two other studios) on the Frostbite 3 engine gives me hope that EA isn't screwing up another franchise. I'm actually looking forward to this especially if BF4 comes out and the FB3 engine is every we hoped it would be.

They decided to make a cheap console, but it wasn't cheap enough. They needed to make a huge leap in performance instead of the slightly better that they elected.
