If you’re sipping a beverage right now, go ahead and swallow before we give you the price tag for the new Sony Xperia ZL smartphone. Ready? It’s $759.99. If you’ve been eagerly anticipating the release of the Xperia ZL, you can preorder the device on the Sony Store and receive your phone “on or about” April 8th.

All that scratch will get you a beautiful and powerful 4G LTE smartphone with Android 4.1 on board that features a near bezel-less 5-inch display (1920x1080), 1.5 GHz Quad Core Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, and up to 16GB of internal storage (up to 32GB with a microSD card). The front-facing camera is 2MP and shoots in 1080p, and the rear camera is 13MP and features autofocus, flash, panoramic capabilities, and more.

The battery purports to last up to 500 hours on standby with STAMINA mode, 13 hours of talk time, 5.5 hours of video playback, and 40 hours of music listening. The device also has infrared capabilities and can be used as a remote control.

The Xperia ZL sounds like an exquisite device--if you want one, get ready to crack that wallet open a little wider.

That is one hefty meatball... I'm assuming $760 is the off contract price? So hopefully around $360-399 with a contract.

Wow! That is a spicy meatball!

What are they thinking?

Dogs are great judges of character, and if your dog doesn't like somebody being around, you shouldn't trust them.
