That being said, the last few versions of iOS have broken a lot of things and removed features, seems like android is doing it right in more ways than one.
Well it really should ship with a new OS, but apples iOS versions havent been that great lately....
Cough Cough *custom rom* cough...
Please stop embarrassing yourself Apple. Yeah, custom roms may not be a readily available option to every user, but it IS an option with (most) Android devices, which is certainly more than can be claimed by ANY iOS user.
Point being, if anyone cares about the OS version used in any given device enough to be swayed by this line of marketing, they are probably going to care enough to educate themselves on how to go about changing it and in the process come to know it isn't an option with iOS. So realistically, if you follow Apple's line of reasoning in this campaign to its logical conclusion, they are really only damning themselves.
