I was soooooooooo excited for this and was set to download it ASAP, and thought last minute "this is an EA game now, I should probably wait." I'm glad I did.
EA just doesn't 'get it' -- to this day, Spore still only has a 1.5/5 star rating on Amazon, with the vast majority of negative user reviews due to the initial DRM scheme it employed.
I'm with you guys.
People say: "If you don't like EA games, don't buy them!". I don't. My worst fear is that companies I like get bought by EA. They don't seem to treat their devs, nor their customers, right.
It's too bad though, because Adam Devine is hilarious.

Does a sp focused game really need always on?
I just booted up battlefield 3 and was immediately slapped with a simcity advertisement from origin. I thought back to this post and immediately closed it out. EA will never learn.
