Joel - does that "Operating Income" take into account how much cash MS poured into the division? I could be remembering completely wrong, but I didn't think they were in the black... I'm thinking money pit. Then again, I could be thinking of the online division.

You're thinking of online services. Let me sum the situation up this way: If we included the dev costs for the original Xbox stretching all the way back to 2002, Microsoft is still $2 billion in the red.
The online service division loses something like $2B a *year.*
