Streaming music is a happening thing these days. While the record stores of yesteryear aren't apt to ever return in full force, the streaming generation is most certainly ushering in a new way of listening to music. Rdio is one name that's making big waves along with iTunes and Spotify, and soon, it'll be delighting users in ever more parts of the globe. The service is now offering music lovers up to six months of free music on the Web in nearly all countries where Rdio is available. New Rdio listeners can sign up and activate free streaming at rdio.com, with no credit card required, then dive right into Rdio's library of over 18 million songs.

The nation list now includes UK, Australia, Canada, France and Spain, but unfortunately, Brazil and Germany still aren't included. Each sign-up includes ad-free music, but there's a limited number of plays that'll count down on each user's page so long as they continue to enjoy gratis. If you're looking to upgrade, $4.99/month gets you unlimited web streaming, while $9.99/month adds mobile streaming and offline listening abilities.

Ive got their service. It works. I only use the mobile app. You really need to know who you are looking for and most smaller/niche artists arent carried.
