The year's largest mobile phone show hasn't even kicked off, with Mobile World Congress still a solid month away. But that's not stopping LG from ushering in an entirely new smartphone, and it's a powerful one at that. The Optimus G Pro picks up where the non-Pro edition left off, and it'll make its start on Japan's NTT DoCoMo before heading elsewhere in the near future. It's bordering on phablet territory, with a 5" 1080p display up front. Inside, there's a blazing 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro chip, a 3000mAh battery, and Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). There's also 2GB of RAM, a 13MP camera, 32GB of internal storage, a microSDXC expansion slot, and built-in support for LTE. It'll start shipping in April, but there's no word on a price. Unfortunately, this makes us wonder if the original Optimus G will ever see a true Jelly Bean update -- it only shipped a few months ago, but without Google Now, it already feels mighty dated.
