I'm curious as to why Apple is making this move. I can see a number of reasons such as their limited amount of product on release date, causing backorders, which results in a small amount of lost sales, or the employee issues they've had with Foxconn. Either way, by them shifting some production to the US i'm sure they'll please a small percentage of everyone and boost their sales globally.
I guess it was too much to hope for human workers...
Well now they can advertise all over that they are made in the USA! and the followers will go with it, and believe apple has generated jobs for the US market. Marketing-
Ahh there goes the hopes of bringing a massive amount of jobs to America, but sourcing something from home is better than nothing
Yep, we gotta support the economy at home! We gotta bring the jobs back to our country! Oh wait, btw guys, these jobs are going to be given to robots, and well hire the odd guy to check up on them every few weeks.
