Smartphone shoppers overwhelmed by the choices out there face an even tougher decision as HTC has added a pair of compelling options to AT&T's lineup. On the higher end of the smartphone spectrum is the quad-core HTC One X+, and for bargain shoppers, the HTC One VX is an affordable alternative that won't obliterate the holiday shopping fund.

Let's start with the HTC One X+. It's equipped with an NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, a large 4.7-inch 720p HD touchscreen, 1GB of RAM, up to 64GB of internal storage, NFC support, 8MP rear-facing camera with autofocus and LED flash, 4G LTE radio, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 4+. According to HTC, it's the first smartphone to pair a Tegra 3 chip with Jelly Bean. AT&T is selling the HTC One X+ for $200 with a two-year service agreement.

If you're looking for something a bit more affordable, AT&T has priced the HTC VX at $50, also with a two-year data plan. Small in price, the VX's 4.5-inch qHD display is bigger than the iPhone 5's Retina Display. It also features some impressive specs for the price, including a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 4G LTE support, VGA front-facing camera, 5MP rear-facing camera, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4 slathered on top.

Both handsets will ship on November 16. The One X+ is available to pre-order today.
