If it's good enough for James Bond, surely it's good enough for you, right? Sony and AT&T are hoping so, as the phone showcased in the upcoming Skyfall flick will be heading exclusively to AT&T in the U.S. The company's Xperia TL will offer a 13MP camera, integrated NFC, 4G LTE radio, and a 4.6" 1080x720 resolution display, which is powered by the Mobile BRAVIA Engine. There's also DLNA streaming, ‘One-touch’ connectivity for sharing with others, and there's even an Xperia SmartTag in the box. Using near field communication technology, SmartTags let you store device preferences for a variety of locations and situations – like opening and controlling volume on the music player if you head out for a run, turning on GPS and Bluetooth in the car or turning on your alarm and silencing your ringer at night.

Xperia TL includes three preloaded Sony media applications, Walkman, Movies, and Album, introducing a consistent user interface across Sony devices, while the 1.5GHz CPU should keep things humming. Android 4.0.4 is loaded, while Android 4.1 is said to be coming soon. There's also an MHL port for showing your media on a larger display, and it's available in any color you choose so long as you choose black. Pricing? That's MI6 top-secret, it appears.

Thats a pretty nice looking phone, but they better be careful as APPLE might sue them for using the same corners that APPLE stole from them! Unluckily it is on AT&T and I personally do not really like AT&T or Verizon for that matter. If I were to choose between the two I would choose Verizon though. As far as my next phone after my Sensation I am thinking a Galaxy note 2. Hopefully by the time I can upgrade (late next MAY) it will be fully root hopefully on the 3rd generation of ROM's. Either way this area moves so fast not to mention MWC will have also happened by then so we have no clue what will be out either.

Since it's a Sony product, I would expect Apple pricing and poor performance (not to mention factory installed spyware and some kind of DRM).

Sony has been on my "boycott until the Sun grows cold" list since the audio CD virus incident.
