So let me get this straight: i3 processor, 4GB of RAM, and only a 32GB SSD for 900 bucks? How is this better/more revolutionary than buying a better (specs-wise at least) Windows-based Ultrabook of my choice for the same price and installing whatever distro I want on it? What is the customer's benefit in this case even after they no longer have to pay for a Windows license? I honestly expected the price to be at least 100, maybe even 200, dollars cheaper.
Totally agree there. This thing needs to retail for no more than $799, preferably $699.

Agree with Dave and KZukowski ; with these specs, that computer seems way overpriced. Applaud the GNU/Linux initiative, however....
PS : It should be noted that the screen offers a resolution of 1366x768. I was unable to determine what sort of panel is used....
It should have a storage drive in it for that price as well.
Maybe priced so high because they're the first to offer Linux distro in this form factor? (not a good reason, but maybe they think that's golden?)
Dogs are great judges of character, and if your dog doesn't like somebody being around, you shouldn't trust them.
Why should it be cheaper? It is the better product, so so it's totally ok to have the same price. OSS is not about being cheaper. You have smaller market, that means less products shipping and worse condition from ODMs. ZaReason is not creating laptops for geeks, but for people who not install operating systems by themselfs.
I am a linux only user since 2005.....and everytime is always the same thing.
Crap design, crap spec and high price. Nobody will get this laptop pure failure, then I much prefer to get a XPS 13 and put ubuntu or archlinux on it. it's same price, really cool, light, good spec.....
These companies must understand that linux doesn't mean 2nd choice hardware...
I know Linux get not viruses.its really good OS.so i think this ultralap is really good and useful for users and it has high configure but i think the price is expensive.so if it would sell $650-$690 ,that will be better for users.
