These will be expensive,.....
Dogs are great judges of character, and if your dog doesn't like somebody being around, you shouldn't trust them.
Agreed realneil. Not sure im going to be buying into this fad.
It is indeed going to be expensive. And id rather get a pahblet than a tablet. Gets best of both world. Dell makes one of the best high end monitors so that 27" sure has some good pixels. But id rather get a gaming desktop
It remains to be seen whether it will be a fad. The market trend for the last decade has steadily been pushing us towards convergence and it's not like the older designs couldn't be improved upon.
Usually hardware follows the software... Like people once thought the mouse was not a good idea but then GUI came into common usage and slowly changed people's minds and how systems were designed evolved. Even the keyboard has evolved over time.
Things like media keys were not part of the original keyboard concept for example. Along with specialized keys like the Windows Key, came about because of the changes in software.
So there's a good chance we're at a point that the hardware will evolve again.
While also keep in mind that while touch alone may be limited but it's interchangeable with motion control and similar input methods like touchpads. The idea isn't so much as forcing a different usage as allowing a greater range of usage that can change as our needs change.
Mind that eventually they all want to make software a greater part of our every day lives. All of which will require significant changes in how both software and hardware are designed. Along with how we use them!
