And yet the games for it will still suck. MS wasn't able to release any games as compelling as Dance Central and Child of Eden (which I played all the way through with a regular controller just fine). I doubt better detection will make it any better. They really need to open up some kind of app store where people can submit all those cool Kinect hacks you see on youtube. I bet that would move a lot more product.
I agree sackyhack. I don't see the point in this. After the initial fun of a couple of gimmick-games, the Kinect is basically as useful as he Wii Fit board. i.e. not useful.

I loved the Kinect sports (for the first 2 hours), but - aside from voice controlling netflix - I never even use my Kinect. I can't imagine what they're planning on doing with an "improved depth recognition." It was a cool idea Microsoft, but sometimes things don't work out.
