Sorry, Richard Stallman, you are obviously suffering from sever recto-cranial inversion. Everyone is *free* to not use non-free software. Your attempt to paint Steam's software development program as evil, and to deny freedom of choice for Linux users, is even more evil than Apple's entire strategy.
This guy's a nutjob, as is evident from his website: http://stallman.org/ . Who cares what he thinks?
I'll do Steam on Linux any day!
Dogs are great judges of character, and if your dog doesn't like somebody being around, you shouldn't trust them.
Uh, did you miss the last paragraph...
"It's important to note that Stallman isn't calling for a boycott against Valve, at least not directly. Instead, he proposes not talking about the availability of Valve's games on Linux as a show of support for his cause. "
There's a difference from not approving of something from trying to outright prevent its use!
Richard Stallman is just a software freedom activist, you can thank him for the GNU Project and the Free Software Foundation.
So of course he would be against something that is going to impose both non-free software and DRM limits that goes against his ideals.
Mind also that many in the Linux Community are Open Source Advocates! So he's hardly alone in that sentiment and you can thank most of them for all the Linux distros you've ever used!
