Huawei announced its first 10-inch quad-core tablet at Mobile World Congress back in February. When the tablet was announced, we learned it would be a 10-inch model with a 1920 x 1200 IPS high definition display, Android 4.0, and a Huawei 1.5GHz quad-core processor. Although those specs were enough to spark our interest, we still wanted to know more.

Now, thanks to a newly released promotional video, you can get a glimpse at what this tablet is going to offer. The video shows off the tablet's metallic design that's 8.8mm thin as well as the 8MP auto-focus camera, 1080p theater-like experience with Dolby surround audio, the ability to transform the tablet into a laptop with a dockable keyboard kit, and much more. Check the tablet out for yourself in the video below. The HUAWEI MediaPad 10 FHD is expected to be available in the second quarter.

That is one attractive tablet and great specs on paper... I'm holding out for the corei5 windows 8 tablet. It if for any reason it falls short of my expectations this Huawei tablet would be in line with what I would consider purchasing.

Huawei and quality are not exactly lovers but the specs are great and if the price is right it can be a pretty good deal and a nice non-Tegra tablet.
