NZXT’s Switch 810 chassis is a fine piece of hardware, but not everyone is in love with the white or black glossy finish. Apparently, fans of the case have been asking for more color and finish options, and NZXT has heeded the call by announcing two new choices. The Switch 810 Special Edition is now available in matte black and gunmetal.

Yes, that’s the only difference between the original Switch 810 and the Special Edition. So what? Those dropping $179.99 on a killer chassis should get their ideal finish on the thing. It's a smart and simple gesture by NZXT.

The case is designed as a hybrid, letting the users configure it for liquid cooling, optimal airflow, or silence, with plenty of space for radiators and drive cage fans as well as “fins” that you can slide open or closed depending on how quiet you want the system to be.

High-end Liquid Cooling. Extreme Airflow. Silent Performance.

NZXT constantly pursues innovative ways to manufacture the best cases possible in the market. During the development of Switch 810, a lot of passion went into the design phase of this chassis and many bold decisions were made. We incorporated more than 16 features in our chassis while keeping an attractive price point consumers would find highly valuable.

We wanted to ensure that our chassis is not only a great case for you now, but can evolve with technological advances and remain up-to-date for many years to come.

Without our community’s valuable feedback and criticisms, our products would not be as unique as they are today. We always aim to maintain customer satisfaction through providing high quality products at great prices, which is why we decided to release the Special Edition to feature two of the most demanded color palettes from our loyal fans: Matte Black and Gunmetal. The community voiced their opinion and we responded. This is our way of showing that NZXT cares.

The Switch 810 Special Edition is now available in Matte Black and Gunmetal priced at $179.99 MSRP. Click here for a demo video in HD and visit www.nzxt.com for more information.

I was hoping for a white/ blue case like they added for the phantom, but the gunmetal looks nice and goes good with my motherboards color scheme (it's the gigabyte 990fx-ud3).

Very nice chassis and I am loving that Nzxt is always thinking of new color schemes for their components.

I like a great majority of the work done by NZXT in the past year or so in general. They really bring some functional value specifically in there cases but in other area as well. For years there laptop coolers have been some of the best on the market. There cases are aesthetically pleasing in both functionality, and design not to mention general usefulness in a general way.
