Asus is now shipping its Transformer Pad 300 tablet which features a starting price of $379.99 for the 16GB model. A 32GB version of this tablet is also available. Both models come with 8GB of Asus WebStorage.

The Transformer Pad 300 features a 10.1-inch WXGA IPS capacitive pressure-sensing multi-touch display along with a 1.2GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad Core mobile processor and 1GB of DDR3 memory. The tablet runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

Like its predecessor, the Transformer Pad 300 tablet can connect to a mobile dock which offers a full Chiclet QWERTY keyboard and multi-touch touchpad along with a USB port and SD card slot. The dock costs an additional $150. Asus claims the Pad with the dock offers up to 15 hours of battery life.

Additional features of the Transformer Pad 300 include SonicMaster audio technology, an 8MP rear-facing camera with a large F/2.2 aperture, and a 1.2MP front-facing camera for video chat. Asus also includes a handful of applications on the tablet including Polaris Office and SuperNote.
