The only problem is most consumers don't pay full price and buy a product thats unpolished to polish it,
I like the proposed idea but most people would prefer to spend hundreds of dollars on an completely finished a polished product.
I'm predicting that the success of the tablet is going to be limited simply due to the fact its not going to appeal to the mainstream but in the hands of all the DIY-ers out there, Linux and the Spark tablet are going to make some progress and push some boundaries but not compete with whats most popular or become the next big thing
