Your PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game consoles can stand upright or lay on their sides, so shouldn't your home theater PC (HTPC) be able to do the same thing? That depends entirely on which computer case you choose. Cooler Master's new Elite 361 mini tower is one of just a handful of cases that have been designed to work their mojo in either orientation.

Cooler Master's rotatable chassis features a minimalistic design that allows it to sit horizontally or vertically without taking up a ton of space (it measures 5.9 inches wide x 14.4 inches high x 18.2 inches deep). Inside the chassis you'll find enough room to fit a full sized ATX motherboard, five 3.5-inch hard drives, and multiple graphics cards with up to seven expansion slots to play with. If you take out a removable drive cage, you can fit graphics cards up to 12.3 inches in length, Cooler Master says.

The Elite 361 can accommodate up to five case fans (top 120/90/80mm  x 1, front 80mm x 1, rear 80mm x 2, side 120mm/90mm/80mm x 1). It has two USB 2.0 ports, a vent on the side panel, and a rotatable logo so it won't look silly if you flip the case on its side or stand it upright.

No word yet on price or availability.

Not bad; it'd certainly be useful for those casual system builders looking for a decent case for their system. It looks pretty good for what it wants to be.

This is pretty nice, and could come in handy. I'm planning on building a new system this summer that is compact, movable, and would look alright sitting by a HDTV. I've currently got the Coolermaster Cosmos S; great for watercooling due to the space, but a little large to lug around lol.

USB 3.0 on the front would be nice...I wonder.

This would be nice for my entertainment system as long as the price does not scare people away(like me,being the tight wad that I am). I like the amount of fans it can hold ,because in a cabinet it does not get the air flow it would on a desk.
