Nokia's hotly anticipated Lumia 900 smartphone built around Microsoft's Windows Phone 7.5 platform isn't scheduled to launch for another month and a half, but if you want to reserve yours now, all you need is $25 and you're good to go, assuming you live nearby a Microsoft Store. If not, you'll also need a tank of gas to make the trek to one of just 16 locations, six of which are located in California and the rest scattered throughout the country.

Multiple news outlets claimed to have confirmed with Microsoft that $25 down will put you in line to receive a Lumia 900 on day or release, which is rumored to launch on March 18th at AT&T for just $100 with a two-year service agreement. It's an aggressive price point for what could end up being one of the most exciting non-Apple smartphone launches in recent times, and it's certainly one of the most anticipated on the Windows Phone platform.

The Lumia 900 wields a 4.3-inch AMOLED ClearBlack glass touchscreen, 1.4GHz processor, 4G LTE support, 512MB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 8MP rear-facing camera with Carl Zeiss optics, 1MP front-facing camera, and several other amenities you'd expect to find on a high-end smartphone.

It looks like a nice phone and the specs are certainly impressive. Microsoft is riding all of it's banks on this Nokia phone being popular and as such, this phone has a lot going for it.

Let's hope this phone sells as well for Microsoft as it does for Nokia and let's hope HH can get one of these babies in for review.
