RIM has been on a rocky road since the iPhone's release; what with BlackBerry releases getting less and less important and the RIM's attempt to compete with the iPad (PlayBook) falling on really hard times. Plus there the push towards a method where both business and casual can mix and BlackBerry's phones are all business oriented (a business which is proving itself to become less and less viable.)
I haven't been brushing up on my BlackBerry OS 10 but from the single screenshot it does look good. Don't understand the problems since RIM has money on hand to develop the device, add respectable performance to the phone and make sure that the OS is in tip-top shape. It's really, really surprising. I know other companies have done this before but to see RIM scumb to this is just plain stunning...
Hopefully they can work out the BlackBerry OS 10 flaws and fix the management problem once and for all. As I said before, BB OS 10 does look good and it'd be a shame for it to go to waste.
