Listen closely, do you hear anything? Any fanfare, ballyhooing, or trumpets? Neither do we, and that's because AMD opted for none of those things when releasing its Radeon HD 7670 graphics card in complete silence. There is, however, a product page on AMD's website that lists this as an OEM-only videocard. Let's take a peek at the specs.

The HD 7670 boasts an 800MHz engine clock, 512MB or 1GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 1,000MHz on a 128-bit wide bus, 64GB/s of memory bandwidth, 768 GFLOPS Single Precision compute power, 480 Stream Processing Units, 24 Texture Units, 32 Z/Stencil ROP Units, 8 Color ROP Units, an and assortment of technologies like DirectX 11, OpenGL 4.1, Eyefinity support, and so forth.

Is this an AMD Radeon HD 7670 or 6670 graphics card? It's both!

It's basically a Turks-based graphics card that boils down to a rebranded Radeon HD 6670, possibly slightly tweaked with an improved power profile. This isn't uncommon in the graphics industry, though it can sometimes be confusing, at least for hardware junkies like us who dig deep into a product's specifications. In any event, expect to see the 7670 appear in upcoming OEM machines, including HP's recently announced HPE H9 Phoenix gaming PC.

Rebranded,........

Nope, I never did like them doing that.

(and the top right pic is funny too)

Dogs are great judges of character, and if your dog doesn't like somebody being around, you shouldn't trust them.

I wouldn't mind so much if the x6xx series was OEM-only (I still mind, but just a little), but sometimes these cards get into retail channels.

Way to confuse consumers. Sleazy, regardless of who's doing it, AMD or NVIDIA.

Wait, so it's a rebrand of a rebrand?

You just blew my mind...
