When you work at Google, you can do amazing things. And those amazing things don't stop at work. They clearly bleed over to home. One particular Google engineer has showcased photos his LAN-party optimized home, and as he calls it, it's "specifically designed to be ideal for PC gaming parties. It's also designed for living, of course, but all houses have that."

It's equipped with 12 fold-out computers, built by a cabinet maker to specs the homeowner specified. There's plenty more details in the Via below, and if you're hoping to get an invite to come over... well, good luck!

This guy must not be married. I'd never be able to get something like this past my wife.

Very cool set up, I agree the chairs stuck, but I guess they are a bit easier to fold up/put away when your not LAN'ing it up. I bet that room gets HOT! lol

Wow, I just looked at his blog, where he details how he got this set up. Good to have an architect in the family to help out :)

Impressive stuff though.

I would love a setup like that!  I remember the good old days of having LAN parties at a friend's house, but of course it was nothing compared to this.  :)

Hi everyone! I am the homeowner's girlfriend. My rig is a 15.6" Asus G53J series gaming laptop with an i7 core and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 460M graphics card. I take gaming very seriously. Needless to say, I love this house.

Kenton just posted fuller technical details and more pictures of the gaming hardware on his blog, which people may find of interest: http://kentonsprojects.blogspot.com/2011/12/lan-party-house-technical-design-and.html. Glad you all like it ^^. The chairs are actually a lot more comfy than they look in the pictures.

He needs vending machines for snacks and sodas...and hot ladies rubbing the gamers shoulders. We all know how tiring it can be after 5 hours of non-stop gaming. :)
