If the NZXT HAVIK 140 CPU cooler is just too bulky for you, NZXT released the HAVIK 120, a smaller and purportedly more versatile version of the HAVIK 140. Being more compact, the HAVIK 120 is designed to put less strain on the motherboard and also provide more room in the case for cabling and components.

Features include four 8mm fan pipes and aluminum fins, dual 13-blade 120mm fans, and 75.8 cfm airflow. It also features a universal bracket for Intel- or AMD-based systems and rubber mounting to reduce vibrations and noise.

The HAVIK 120 is also designed with your budget in mind with an MSRP of $54.99.

NZXT Unleashes HAVIK 120 CPU Cooler

Compact, high-performance CPU Cooler maximizes CPU efficiency with aggressive heat dissipation and eliminates noise with expertly engineered fan blades

El Monte, CA – November 28, 2011 – NZXT, a company built on realizing the dreams of gamers worldwide, is proud to announce HAVIK 120, a more compact and versatile version of NZXT’s award-winning HAVIK 140. HAVIK 120’s premium materials include a nickel-plated copper base that utilizes four 8mm pipes for efficient heat transfer. The heat is then quickly dissipated (75.8 CFM) out of the chassis through the masterfully engineered, aerodynamic, aluminum fan blades providing intense, yet silent cooling (22dBA) and ensuring the longevity of your components.

HAVIK 120’s smaller form factor yields less strain on the motherboard while leaving even more space within the chassis facilitating an impeccably clean build. NZXT also includes a universal bracket for easy installation with both Intel and AMD processors and rubber mounting for advanced noise absorption for added convenience and whisper quiet operation.

“HAVIK 120 is a great victory for overclockers seeking a small yet powerful fan cooler that won’t break the bank” said Johnny Hou, Founder and Chief Designer at NZXT. “The original HAVIK 140 has been highly decorated with awards in the enthusiast community. HAVIK 120 should yield similar performance in a slightly smaller form factor for under $60.”

HAVIK 120 is available now for $54.99. For more information visit,

Nice price for a high end cooler. Those fans look like they can push a heck of a lot of air with all the extra fan blades.

Wow that is a really good price for a cooler with dual fans. I agree @omega, those fans move some air, and it looks like they are claiming it moves pretty quietly too.

Now you're just mashing it!

I actually have the Havic 140 cpu cooler & it sure is quiet and cools extremely well. The Phantom chassis that I also have from the Labor Day HH Win rig has a NZXT 120mm fan in the back is also very quiet and can move some air.No doubt that the Havik 120 is sure to fit 'da bill for good cooling at a great price and will do that quietly......if you have the Havik 120 mm installed in the NZXT Phantom chassis it should be no problem to install  the side 200mm gpu intake fan.

thanks NZXT

"The Havik 140 had excellent reviews all around, very good low noise levels, so the 120 version should perform the same way, and still looks great, although the blades on the 140 look cooler."
