What is "and they all over quad-channel DDR3 memory via 8 DIMM slots", or what do you mean by that, or is it just a mistake? Either way moving on as usual. Lol; did'nt they just drop the X59 chipset!, oh yeah the technology train never ever stops:)
Thats that thing with the rampage board? The "key"?
Very nice looking boards :)
@rapid I think that was meant to say "and they all offer quad-channel". Good thing memory is cheap.
I myself am drooling over that RoG Rampage IV board. I love Asus boards they are really nice even if they are a bit on the pricy side. Can't wait to build a new machine in May.
All three motherboards look good... But I to wonder why the Sabertooth and the Rampage has fans while the P9X79 doesn't... I mean I get that the chipsets can run hot but I've never seen a fan on one of those boards before, does the X79 chipset run that hot when your messing around with it?
The overclocking features on both of the boards is also droolworthy. Never have I seen so many options to mess around with, I'm guessing that the overclockers who LN2 their processors and break records with it and the enthusiasts who want to get the most possible power will greatly appreciate the extra features ASUS has included... I would like to know how that VGA overclocking thing works though and if it works on other video cards besides ASUS's.
Anyway, great job ASUS... Looking forward to seeing them on store shelves soon.

"I just went in to Newegg to check out the prices of X79 boards, and all I can say is: Jimmy McMillan "The Motherboards Prices are Too Damn High" . The ASUS P9X79 DELUXE is at $399 , so Imagine what the Rampage IV will cost. I also see that there are also other models from other manufactures under $299 and under $250, so Its good that every budget, specially in the midrange, will be covered."

Sabertooth X79: $339.99
Rampage IV Extreme: $449.99
Oddly enough, the Sabertooth is cheaper then the P9X79 Deluxe. Either the P9X79 has some extra features that the Sabertooth doesn't or it must be a pricing anomaly. Though in defense of the Rampage IV Extreme, it is a bit fair as it contains a lot of stuff, including that GPU overclocker thingy.
