This is one amazing system. i7, bundled with Sonar, and the Komplete library? Count me in! I'm already having dreams of taking this to my friends' studios and saying "think your system can match THIS?" haha

Just a quick update; I finished the composing of the theme song, now all I need to do is master it and work vigorously to get the horns sounding like horns. (the horns I have don't really sound like horns and even when combining three of them it still doesn't sound like the ones I've heard.)

I'm really hoping that the room corners will fit together when this baby is master.

@rapid1 29 more days plenty of time for anyone to catch the eye of the judges. I hope PCAudioLabs is getting some recognition and business from sponsoring this awesome prize. Small builders rock.

Okay... After two days and some alterations, this is what I was able to come up with...

It would be a bit better if I had access to some better sound horns but what I was able to come up with is pretty good I think. I tried to portray it as a "what if situation", you know, if geeks made the "Two and a Half Men" theme. I took inspiration from the theme I mentioned before and the song they currently open "Two and a Half Geeks" with.

Comments, suggestions, ideas, let me know!

It's got a nice hook to it Taylor.

FL Studio for composing, Audition for the mastering (reverb, equalization, some other stuff) and Vir2 for the instruments. (It'd sound less spooky sounding if I had more appropriate horns.)

Can I get a OMFG!!! that thing is very very pretty... The only thing that surprises me is that they don't use a modular power supply Stick out tongue

It's cool that they shift the motherboard like Maingear to improve cooling.

The PSU's at the front end of the case.

A very different design,......and it's in a relatively small enclosure too.

Learning all of the software installed on this would take time to do. It sounds as if it's supremely capable. Whomever wins this one is in for a huge learning curve.

Among all of the giveaways that you see on the web, this is most unique. You just don't see something like this as a prize all that often.

It's too cool. Wilted Flower

Nope no joke. The old X2 4400 has a hard time running a lot of VST synthesizers at the same time. So this would def help big time.

Absolutely right realneil, don't see stuff like this at all, not just on the web, but anywhere.

Oh, and I'll gladly volunteer my time to learn all that software. A sacrifice I know, but hey someone has to! lol
