We're not sure if Apple users are just incredibly easy to please or if the Cupertino company simply knows how best to cater to its consumer base. In the end it doesn't really matter, because either way, Apple users are more satisfied with their PCs than anyone else, according to a new report by the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ASCI). This is the 8th straight year Apple has led the PC category in customer satisfaction, so one thing you can't chalk it up to is a fluke.

"In the eight years that Apple has led the PC industry in customer satisfaction, its stock price has increased by 2,300 percent," remarks Claes Fornell, founder of the ACSI and author of The Satisfied Customer: Winners and Losers in the Battle for Buyer Preference. "Apple’s winning combination of innovation and product diversification—including spinning off technologies into entirely new directions—has kept the company consistently at the leading edge."

That's fine and dandy for Apple users, but what about the Windows crowd? There hasn't been much movement among Windows-based PC vendors, and the playing field appears fairly even. HP scored 78 on a 100 point scale, Dell and Acer both scored 77, and Compaq scored 75 (Apple scored 87, in case anyone was wondering).

You can view all the numbers here.

apple is pretty good and taking care of its customers. I mean if anything is wrong with your iphone, you just have to take it to the apple store and they give you a new one. That is pretty awesome.

ROFL; LLeCompte, tell that to my sister in law, she dropped her iPhone 4! She had to pay At&t, and resurrect her previous phone (so se could have service) because they would not give her a replacement (but she was still in her 2 year contract), and she had to pay it off! It does not sound very awesome to me really! Apple is good at feeding the masses, and keeping it's dissenters/dissatisfied quite more than anything from what I have seen in 20 years.

Personally I believe they put crack in their products to keep customers hooked.

No ones perfect but Apple certainly has more brand loyalty than any other company.

you know these kinds of "statistics" really aren't statistics that prove anything. Just because the consumer base is happy with their apple products doesn't mean apple is the best. Take for example, children love toys. In fact children used to love the huge boxes that their toys came in more than the toy itself. My point is that anyone can say they're happy with a box of garbage. Take that and smoke it in your %aggot hipster pipe mac fans.

No doubt Apple are master of the iSheep revolving door and Spin cycle for all there product, device, media spin,& customer service.Yes customer service .Remember the fake China Apple stores a while ago ? What gave them away was the excellent customer service and some folks where quite disappointed when they closed.Funny how things can get wrangled in the Spin Cycle

Not enough buzz in the media for a product ? Take it for a night out in a San Francisco bar and ?? wtf! cr^ck 'da pipe 'cuz I don't care 'bout the phone5

"Don't Panic ! 'cause HH got's your back!"

I just can't believe this. I've know people that have Apple products, but the Mac users that I talk to own up to being loyal customers. They seem to tell me a different view & that is that they think that customer support is hopeless, also that Macs are hopeless with gaming. So it may just be that they're loyal for some reason & most will not own up to why, although a few will say it is stable with porn.

pretty good for one year for free. its great if you don't mind paying for it. Warranty repairs are numerous but it's effect is somehow ignored due to applecare. They have a damn good PR team.
