I won Deus Ex Human Revolution from one of their Gold members only contests. They seem to be gearing it up a notch or two all of the time.

I like the game, but not a lot of time to play it yet. Much to deal with with my family right now.

It's why I'm not around here as much.

Pretty sure I did when I had the Orange Box version of it. either way I know what ya mean.

Just a good point in this thread that if you consider a raeon type card to get the card from Sapphire 'cuz the club benefits are pretty cool Cool as you well know. Yes

No six pack yet but I will get there :)

I went to a training session for my job through HP and AMD, I won a AMD processor through the raffle they had; it was the  A6 3500 so it seems I should try building a system when I get some spare cash.

The A6 3500 is a decent CPU by AMD, it's a good win and a good thing to power the system you're going to build if you get the extra money.

Hope you get your six pack soon...

Just because I didn't enter the battle, doesn't mean I'm gonna lose the war.

Well good luck soldier; you'll have to face off TechPowerUp and it's never ending supply of contests from other websites.

In all seriousness, this thread has become pretty dead. I like the contest Gigabyte is having but I'm not entirely sure. Gigabyte's VGA cards look cool but I have never used one myself... Would like to consider them in a future build though but MSI, ASUS, Gigabyte and maybe Palit keep coming out with dope custom designed cards that always manage to grab my attention. I mean have you seen MSI's Lightning cards? Those cards are beastly powerful.

Thanks FreeJet from keeping this thread alive, it's glad to see people who won't consider losing the war for a good contest.

Here's a great one I stumpled on at startrek.com...

WIN A WALK ON ROLE IN THE NEXT STAR TREK MOVIE!!  :P

The “Super 8: Watch It & Walk-On” sweepstakes will run from November 20 to December 4. Participants must be at least 18 years old and can submit one entry per day; the sweepstakes is open solely to U.S. residents.

The two winners will be chosen randomly in December from all entries received. And, in addition the non-speaking walk-on role in the Star Trek (2009) sequel, each winner will receive travel to the filming city and accommodations for two nights. You know what we say: Beam us up

(Times like this I wish I lived in the U.S.!!)

I missed the first 2 hours of the show but I'm streaming it now to get caught up. They are a pretty good show, informative and funny. And it's cool because they monitor their email and Facebook page during the show and reply to comments and questions quickly. I was surprised when they mentioned my name on the air, I felt like a celebrity for a blip of a second LOL

I'm glad you enjoy it :D

" Limit: No more than one (1) entry per person per day during the Entry Period will be counted.  PARTICIPANTS SHOULD ENSURE THAT THEY DO NOT ENTER BOTH DRAWINGS FOR THE SAME DAY AS THIS MAY LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION OF THE PARTICIPANT. '"

**** some days you may want to enter for a different prize.. some folks may enter for a great gift prize just 'cuz.

Sure seems like the folks at AMD are listening  as well getting some feedback these days from communities such as this.

Have Fun & Good Luck

I am a member of about 4-5 forums but mostly I hang out here on HotHardware, there is not enough time in the day to participate on all of them.
